An urgent search has been launched to find a missing Leicestershire man. Barrie Young has not been seen for more than 24 hours.
The 71-year-old was reported missing today (Friday, May 30) after last being seen at his home in Sileby yesterday lunchtime (Thursday, 29). Officers from Leicestershire Police said Mr Young
left his home address in his car, a blue Ford Fiesta.
Police and Barrie's family are concerned for his welfare and have turned to the public for help in tracing him.

As part of their appeal, police said Barrie is white, with tanned skin. He is 5ft 2ins tall and has a shaved head with white hair on the side.
When he was last seen, Barrie was wearing a red and blue gilet, a dark bluet-shirt with grey jogging bottoms and grey trainers.
Anyone with information about Barrie Young's whereabouts should call Leicestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 127 of May 30. Always call 999 in an emergency.
