There are "severe delays" on the M56 following a crash. Emergency services were called to junctions 12 A557 (Runcorn) to junction 14 A5117 (Chester Services / Helsby). According to
traffic management system Inrix, there is congestion to junction 15 (M53) for eastbound traffic as it slows past the scene. National Highways said there are currently delays of 60 minutes
