was seriously injured in a hit-and-run collision. At around 11.43am on Wednesday May 14, it was reported that the victim was walking along Borrowdale Road in Moreton, Wirral when he was
involved in a collision with a black VW Golf car. The man sustained a serious leg injury, and the driver of the car failed to stop and failed to provide his details to the injured party or
report the matter to the police. Merseyside Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the incident. A force spokesperson said: "If anyone has any CCTV or dashcam that
may assist us please let us know. "Our enquiries are ongoing into this incident and anyone with information is asked to DM @MerPolCC or @CrimestoppersUK on 0800 555 111 quoting
