Region and the North West could see gusts of wind reaching speeds of up to 56mph on Thursday, December 21. The Met Office has now issued a yellow weather warning, which will be in place from
midnight to 11.59pm on Thursday. The strong winds are likely to affect a wide area through Thursday, potentially causing some travel disruption. Power cuts, damage to buildings and chance

Merseyside, which is forecasted from 12pm to 9pm on Thursday, December 21. A statement from the Met Office said: "Windy throughout, especially on Thursday with severe gales possible in
