CLAIRE SWEENEY HAS SAID SHE WILL SOON APPEAR ON A FAMOUS SHOW 11:23, 21 May 2025 Coronation Street's Claire Sweeney thrilled fans as she traded the Cobbles for another iconic television

show. The 54-year-old Scouser has been a hit with viewers since she joined the ITV soap as Cassandra Plummer. The character has been at the centre of the drama after she finally got her

comeuppance for drugging Ken Barlow. Cassie has been caring for the soap legend over recent months but fell back into her old ways when she desperately tried to ensure Ken still relied on

her by slipping poison into his tea. However, the character got greedy and started using Ken's funds to buy her own goods. She was eventually found out and Tracy Barlow set about trying

to take revenge and tempt Cassie to fall back into her drug addiction. Cassie managed to resist and she has since set about making amends for her actions. She has made headway as she has

earned a second chance from Steve McDonald and her onscreen son, Tyrone Dobbs. The character is enjoying a more settled period in the show at the moment. Claire regularly keeps fans updated
