THE ITV PRESENTER ASKED: "WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH YOU?" 19:03, 21 May 2025 Bradley Walsh was taken aback by one player's "unnecessary" gesture on the ITV quiz
show. Alexia, Amy, Phillip and Niall made up the team of four contestants who were eager to test their general knowledge skills against one of the UK's best quizzers. Niall was first up
to face The Chaser, who in the case was Jenny Ryan aka The Vixen. He accumulated an impressive £6,000 in the Cash Builder round before he found himself in a tense one-question shoot-out
scenario on the quiz show. After making a lucky guess to a question about Mozart, Niall successfully returned to his teammates and kickstarted the shared cash prize pot. Bradley Walsh
praised the quizzer as he said: "Well played you." But the ITV presenter was taken aback after shaking Niall's hand while congratulating him. Bradley was shocked: "Oh
you've got a strong handshake. That's unnecessary that." He continued to joke about Niall's firm gesture: "What's the matter with you? I've got to shake
everybody's hand, you've hurt me now. That's unnecessary, off you go." Niall made his way back to his teammates as he told Bradley: "Sorry buddy." The host
joked to the audience: "It's like a pincer movement. That's amazing, thought he was going to throw me there." Article continues below Returning back to his presenting
duties, Bradley welcomed Philip onto the quiz show. The magistrate from Droitwich Spa in Worcestershire also gave a great performance. He bagged another £6,000 for the team and joined Niall
in the final. Firefighter Amy was next up and hoped to follow in his footsteps. The contestant put her general knowledge skills to the test as she also accumulated an impressive score of
£6,000 in the Cash Builder. After a tense head-to-head against The Vixen, Amy secured her spot in the final and increased the shared prize pot to £18,000. Bradley Walsh said: "Very
good. It's getting better and better and better", as all three contestants had made it through so far. Alexia was the final contestant hoping to add to the prize pot, as she
accumulated £4,000 after a tricky quick-fire question round. She also earned her spot in the final, as The Vixen said she was a "great contribution" to the team. It was looking
promising for the team, as all four quizzers could combine their knowledge to try and beat The Chaser. However, their score of 18 proved to be too weak to triumph on the quiz show. Article

dreaded words: "For you, The Chase is over." THE CHASE AIRS WEEKDAYS AT 5PM ON ITV1
