The summer transfer has only just opened and Liverpool could have a rather busy few days ahead. The window opened on Sunday, which now give the Reds the chance to make changes to their squad
ahead of next season. Thanks to the FIFA Club World Cup taking place in the United States this summer, the transfer window will remain open until June 10 before closing for almost a week.
The window will reopen on June 16 for the rest of the summer, but Liverpool, it seems, are looking to get some of their business done early. Jeremie Frimpong has already been signed after
Liverpool agreed to pay the £29.5million release clause in the defender's contract. Frimpong arrives just as Trent Alexander-Arnold completes a permanent move to Real Madrid. Liverpool
will also sign Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia this summer after a deal was agreed last year. The goalkeeper will officially become a Reds player on July 1. With a little over a week
until the transfer window briefly closes once again, Liverpool could have a busy few days ahead. With one signing already completed, there is already the potential for more in the near
future. FLORIAN WIRTZ continues to be heavily linked with a move to Liverpool. The Reds have already had a £109million bid rejected by Bayer Leverkusen for the Germany international, with
talks continuing between the two clubs. Neither Liverpool nor Leverkusen want negotiations to drag on, with the Reds seeking a swift resolution to the talks over a deal to sign Wirtz. The
Bundesliga club are understood to value the 22-year-old at around £125million. Liverpool are also continuing to be linked with a move for MILOS KERKEZ. The Bournemouth defender is on the
Reds' shortlist of left-back targets for this summer but is not the only name under consideration. Reports over the last few days have claimed that Liverpool's interest in Kerkez
has ramped up, with a deal for the Hungary international rumoured to be moving closer. The Cherries are thought to value Kerkez at around £45million. It's not just new signings that
Liverpool may be looking at, but also outgoings. One player who looks set to head for the exit door is CAOIMHIN KELLEHER. Liverpool have agreed a deal with Brentford for the Republic of
Ireland international, which is worth up to £18million. Kelleher's departure will be followed by the arrival of Mamardashvili, with Vitezslav Jaros expected to remain the third-choice
goalkeeper. There is also continued speculation surrounding the future of LUIS DIAZ. Barcelona and Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr have been mentioned as potential suitors for the Colombia
international over the last few days. Rumours around Diaz's future intensified after his partner, Gera Ponce, posted on Instagram on Sunday night, which many interpreted as a potential
goodbye message. Only time will tell, though, if the speculation linking DIaz with an Anfield exit turns out to be accurate or not.
