The Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris is housed in the East wing of the Palais de Tokyo, a spectacular palace built for the 1937 International Exhibition. It is located along the right bank of
the Seine, between the Champs-Elysées and the Eiffel Tower. The Museum’s collections comprise nearly 15,000 works representative of the major art movements of the 20th and 21st centuries.
Among the highlights of the collection are works associated with Fauvism (Derain, Matisse), Cubism (Braque, Gris, Picasso), the School of Paris (Chagall, Modigliani, Soutine), and decorative
arts from the interwar period; but also works connected to more recent developments such as New Realism, Arte Povera, Supports/Surfaces, Narrative Figuration, German Postwar painting, and
France’s next generation of emerging artists. As a business company, you have the opportunity to organize private events in a variety of spaces where your guests will be surrounded by those
exceptional artworks. Cocktail parties, dinners, presentations, award ceremonies, breakfasts and more can be hosted within the galleries devoted to the Museum’s permanent collection. The
beauty and prestige of the place, its unique atmosphere, and the opportunity for your guests to enjoy the Museum’s collections or exhibitions outside regular opening hours, will make each of
your events at MAM a memorable success.
