Porter Kershaw died from his injures after being hit by a vehicle. The 19-year-old was killed after being hit on Porritt Street on the evening of Monday, May 19. Greater Manchester Police
(GMP) launched a manhunt for 23-year-old Tino Williams. A public appeal began on Tuesday last week (May 27). The force released two images of Tino Williams as police urged people to come
forward if they saw him. Article continues below GMP confirmed this morning (Monday, June 2) he has not yet been found. A force spokesperson said previously: "Tino Williams is wanted in
connection with a murder which happened on Monday, May 19. "At around 8.10pm on Monday, May 19 2025, officers received reports of a man being hit by a vehicle on Porritt Street in
Bury. "Despite the best efforts of medical professionals and first responders at the scene, the victim, Brandon Porter Kershaw, sadly passed away as a result of his injuries."
Loved ones of Brandon left tributes and flowers for him at the scene while officers gathered evidence in the area. In a moving tribute, his family said: "We are all truly shocked and
heartbroken by the sudden loss of Brandon. "He was a gentle, kind-hearted young man whose warmth and social nature touched everyone around him. Brandon was taken far too soon, and his
passing has left a deep void in all our lives. "Brandon was a devoted dad to his young daughter, who he loved deeply. His family meant everything to him, and the bond he shared with his
mum was incredibly special, they were best friends. “As we come to terms with this devastating news, we kindly ask for privacy as we grieve and support one another through this difficult
