was 'utter chaos' on the M62 on Tuesday evening (June 3) after a slip lane closure caused miles of congestion and rush-hour delays.
The M60 clockwise entry slip road was closed, causing 'severe delays', which was worsened by a lane closure due to a broken down lorry on the M62 Eastbound from J11 to J12.
Motorway traffic cameras showed four lanes of static traffic caused by the incident, with drivers reporting they 'hadn't moved' for 30 minutes.

Highways North West said there were delays of at least 45 minutes after a heavy goods vehicle broke down on the link road between the M62 eastbound onto the M60 clockwise.
Traffic became backed up on the M62 to junction 10, with cameras showing Highways officers in attendance and closing off the slip road for the M60.

National Highways posted on X: "The link road from the M62 eastbound at J12 onto the #M60 clockwise is closed due to a broken down lorry. Delays of 45 minutes on approach."
Earlier in the afternoon, all traffic had also been stopped on the M60 anticlockwise from J2 for Cheadle Roscoes Roundabout to J1 for Stockport Pyramid due to a police incident.
