THE ACTOR HAS BEEN NOMINATED FOR BEST SERIAL DRAMA PERFORMANCE AT THE 2025 NATIONAL TELEVISION AWARDS 12:26, 21 May 2025 Emmerdale star Danny Miller took to his Instagram as he opened up
about "surreal" nomination amongst his "uber talented colleagues" for his role as Aaron Dingle. Danny Miller joined the Leeds-based ITV soap back in 2008 and has become a
legendary figure in the village. One of his major storylines involved his romance with Robert Sugden, with the pair being affectionately labelled as "Robron" by fans. However, in
2019 Robert was sentenced for the murder of Lee Posner where he is currently facing 14 years in prison. Aaron has managed to find love again with mysterious ex-Army medic John Sugden who has
a dark past himself that he's been attempting to keep buried. Earlier this year, Aaron found himself at the centre of Anthony Fox's murder storyline after his harrowing crimes
were revealed. Anthony arrived in the Dales last year as Ruby Miligan's estranged father, but flashbacks highlighted that he had sexually abused her as as a teenager and even fathered
her daughter, Steph. Upon figuring this out, Aaron followed Anthony to the depot and threw several deadly punches towards him until he lay bleeding out on the floor. In a panic, Aaron
informed John who rushed back to the scene with him where they found Anthony had died during their absence. John sprung into action as he cleared the crime scene of any evidence and disposed
of his body. As viewers will recall, it was Ruby who had killed Anthony but Aaron struggled to battle with the guilt that he faced. More recently, he's set to marry John who has
secrets of his own - including that he killed Nate Robinson and dumped him in the village lake. Actor Danny Miller has now been shortlisted as a nominee for "Best Serial Drama
Performance" at the National Television Awards 2025. He's up against fellow Emmerdale co-stars Beth Cordingly, Eden Taylor-Draper, Jeff Hordley, William Ash and Emma Atkins. Taking
to his Instagram, Danny posted about his nomination as he wrote: "Always feel incredibly honoured to be nominated at any awards ceremony but @officialntas always feels surreal!
Especially in the category with my lovely friends and Uber talented colleagues. As long as one of us walks away with it... that'll do for me!! So please go vote all things @emmerdale
please". Article continues below Appearing on the Off Script podcast recently with Kelvin and Liz Fletcher, they revealed that the star has had 40 nominations and 24 wins since joining
Emmerdale. As the clip was posted on Emmerdale's Instagram account, Danny joked: "I don’t believe in my own hype btw I hide embarrassment through attempt at comedy. Wish I could
hide that double chin in the same way". EMMERDALE AIRS ON WEEKDAYS AT 7:30PM ON ITV1 AND IS AVAILABLE TO STREAM ON ITVX.
