this month(Image: LightRocket via Getty Images) Asda have cut prices for exclusive Gino D'Acampo kitchen products, amidst misconduct allegations against the celebrity chef. The supermarket
revealed that promotions are company-wide, with numerous discounted items up for grabs both in-store and online.
Among the products are smaller kitchen essentials, including the 28cm Gino D'Acampo Wok now down 33% from £15 to £9.97, as well as Black Tongs cut from £3.50 to £1.98. But numerous bigger
appliances are in the mix too, including toasters at £24.97, blenders at £15.88 and even kettles at £16.94.
Photographs shot in-store at Horwich, Bolton, also suggest that 9L dual air fryers have been discounted by more than 33%, dropping from £89 to £58.92. The wave of discounts come as
allegations against D'Acampo were brought to light earlier this month.
ITV claimed that 'dozens' of people complained of the TV chef's 'unacceptable' and 'distressing' behaviour on programmes across more than 12 years. This allegedly includes when D'Acampo
worked across shows including Gino's Italian Express, Gordon, Gino and Fred's Road Trip, Gino's Italian Family Adventure, among others.
D'Acampo, 48, 'firmly denied' the allegations and his legal team said he did not recognise the incidents detailed. According to the Mirror, he said in a statement: "I have been told by ITN
news that allegations have been made about me acting inappropriately, some dating back over ten years ago.

allegations are firmly denied. I would not do anything that I thought would upset or distress anyone.
"This is simply not in my nature. I do not recognise the version of events being put to me. Not only have these allegations never been raised with me before, I have been repeatedly supported
by executives at the highest level and was commissioned on prime-time programmes during the period in which it is now suggested I was acting inappropriately.
"I am a father, husband and have worked with well over 1,500 people on around 80 productions in my career, which I have been so proud of. I take such matters extremely seriously and the
suggestion that I have acted in an improper way against is deeply upsetting."
When approached, Asda did not comment on the allegations but asserted that its D'Acampo promotions are company-wide and part of regular discounting processes. Not all D'Acampo products are
discounted across the range.
An Asda spokesperson said: "We relaunched Rollback in January which immediately reduced the price of thousands of products across all categories including kitchenware in store and online.
Once the promotion ends, these products will move to a new cheaper Asda Price, providing customers with the lowest price across the traditional supermarkets."
