of Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze. United have been linked with a move for Eze over the last 12 months as the summer transfer window nears. Eze played a key role in helping Palace win the

FA Cup, scoring the winning goal against Manchester City in the final at Wembley Stadium. Eze's performances over the last couple of seasons have seen him heavily linked with a move

away from Palace. United have been mentioned as a potential destination in the past, and now a fresh update has emerged about Eze's future. The Mirror has reported that Bayern Munich

are now showing an interest in signing Eze. Crucially for United, though, the report provides an update on the fee which may be needed to agree a deal. It has been claimed that Palace are

determined to keep Eze at Selhurst Park, although the player will have a release clause in his contract. The figure in the clause is reported to be £60million plus a further £8million in

add-ons. If United do express an interest in activating the clause, the report states that this will expire before the transfer window closes. Deadline day for this summer is September 1,

and it has been claimed the £68million total release clause will expire two weeks before this date, so effectively in mid-August. The Manchester Evening News reported in September last year

that Eze is a player of interest to United heading into the upcoming summer transfer window. Article continues below United were monitoring the England international with a view to
