BBC) The BBC Radio 2 in the Park festival is set to descend on Chelmsford's Hylands Park later this September. Taking place over three full days, it will be the one-stop event to see some of


the world's biggest and best music acts perform live, all hosted by Radio 2's DJs and presenters [via Essex Live].


Highlight acts include Bryan Adams and Def Leppard, who will headline the two main nights of the festival. Additional appearances will be made by Stereophonics, Ella Henderson, and Jessie J


who hails from Essex herself.


Tickets went on sale today, Wednesday June 4, almost exactly three months ahead of the event. It's set to start with a DJ party on Friday, September 5 and run through until Sunday, September


7.


There will be 7,000 tickets for the Friday night DJ stage. For Saturday and Sunday there will be just over 35,000 tickets available for each day.


Ticket prices for BBC Radio 2 In The Park 2025 Tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday go on sale on Wednesday (June 4). Tickets to the Radio 2 in the Park Pre-Party on Friday are £32 (plus


booking fee).


Tickets for the Saturday and Sunday are priced from £63 (plus booking fee). Listeners and viewers will be able to catch all the action live throughout the weekend on Radio 2, BBC Sounds and


iPlayer.


There are plenty of reviews when it comes to Ticketmaster UK, with lots of praise for the firm's communication and ease of use. There are some who also mention being able to get last-minute


resale tickets to events, but others have mentioned having difficulties with the Ticketmaster app.

Ticketmaster. They are the only official ticketing agent for Radio 2 In The Park.


To get a ticket, customers will need to queue on Ticketmaster. To do that you will need to have an account with the platform. It's recommended you register for an account before tickets go


on sale so that you can join the queue promptly.


Just under a third of general admission tickets will be kept back for purchase by residents within the Essex area. To ensure you are eligible to purchase these tickets, you will need to


enter the postcode of your home address at the time of purchase.


Essex residents will have until 8:30am on Wednesday (June 11) to buy from their reserved allocation.
