The buy-the-dip frenzy is continuing, as evidenced by this eye-popping stat. According to JPMorgan's trading desk, at 12:30 p.m. Eastern time on Monday, retail investors had bought a

net $4.1 billion of stocks, which the firm said was the largest-ever level for this time of day. To put it in mathematical terms, that's an increase of more than 11 standard deviations.

By day's end, the frenzy had abated a bit but still resulted in net purchases of $5.4 billion from retail investors, JPMorgan said.
