The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 114.83 points, or 0.3%, to end at 42,677.24, snapping a three-day winning streak, according to FactSet data. The S&P 500 was off 23.14 points, or
0.4%, to finish at 5,940.46, ending a six-day winning streak. The Nasdaq Composite slid 72.75 points, or 0.4%, ending at 19,142.71. U.S. government debts on Tuesday held relatively steady
following a sharp selloff in the previous session after Moody's downgraded the U.S.'s credit rating. The yield on the 10-year Treasury note rose less than 1 basis point, to 4.479%,
while the 30-year yield was up 2.9 basis points, to 4.967%, according to FactSet data.
