LOOSE WOMEN STAR JANET STREET PORTER SAID SHE HAS "A LOVE/HATE" RELATIONSHIP WITH TELEVISION CHEF GORDON RAMSAY AFTER WORKING WITH HIM MULTIPLE TIMES, INCLUDING HIS SHOW THE F WORD
14:12, 18 Aug 2024 Janet Street Porter hasn't held back on her thoughts about Gordon Ramsay in a swipe at the famous chef. Reflecting on her lengthy career and who she has worked with
in the industry so far, the Loose Women star claimed that the no-nonsense cook was "very patronising". Not stopping there, 77-year-old Janet extended her insult by branding Gordon,
57, "a male chauvinistic pig". Despite her not-so-kind words about him, the journalist insisted that she does actually like the chef and enjoyed being on his show, The F Word,
back in the day. Speaking with the Sunday Mail, she shared: "Gordon Ramsay and I have always had a love/hate relationship, as he is very patronising. "I like him, but he is a male
chauvinistic pig. We do work well together and I loved being on The F Word [his previous show] with him." It's not the first time Janet has taken issue with the chef over the
years. In 2016, Janet criticised Gordon for announcing his wife Tana's fifth pregnancy, which resulted in a miscarriage, so soon. Discussing the heartbreaking matter on Loose Women, the
panellist said she was "surprised" that he shared their news so early and believes his wife may have wanted to wait a little longer. "She's 41 and the children she
already has are all teenagers," she shared. "If it had been me, I probably would have waited a while longer to announce the pregnancy. "It can't be nice to have it out
there in the public domain like this." Tana miscarried with their son Rocky at 20 weeks, a horrific time she admits still haunts her. In a heartfelt statement at the time, the chef
wrote: "We're together healing as a family, but we want to thank everyone again for all your amazing support and well wishes. "I'd especially like to send a big thank you
to the amazing team at Portland Hospital for everything they’ve done. G x." Proving that their relationship really is hot and cold, Janet defended Gordon on a different subject in her
Daily Mail column back in 2020. After Gordon was slammed for travelling to his Cornwall home from London during the coronavirus pandemic, the journalist slammed those hating on him and
wrote: "Whether we like it or not, Gordon Ramsay has the right to take his family wherever he likes, because he wants (understandably) to keep them safe." Article continues below
She went on to say that she understood why he would rather isolate in the holiday destination with a beach on his doorstep instead of a city, but urged him to perhaps stop sharing his
whereabouts with fans on social media in a bid to stop the uproar.
