showed the potatoes in the pan and said: "I've got them parboiling in here, in salted boiling water," and explained he would cook them for around 10 minutes at around 180C to
190C before draining them in a colander when they're "just thinking about breaking up". The chef then added a teaspoon of oil and red wine vinegar to a baking tray. He then
shook the potatoes in the colander and said: "Look what I'm doing. See how I've beaten them up? I'm gonna cook these in an oven at about 180/190, which is about 350
Fahrenheit, over the period of about 50 minutes." Article continues below He then removed the potatoes from the oven after 40 minutes and used a potato masher to gently press each of
the roast potatoes down, explaining: "'Take the tray out of the oven after 40 minutes, place the potato masher on top, and then just let it pop and let the lovely starchy inside
just puff out.' "Just do that around the whole tray and then pop it back in for another 10 minutes. Crispy and fluffy," Jamie concluded, showing the finished dish with crispy
and fluffy potatoes. People loved his easy video recipe, with many hoping to recreate the dish themselves. "I always do my potatoes like this, and they’re always incredible," one
fan wrote, and another said: "Jamie, I did this and it worked a treat." A third suggested: "Par-boil potatoes, put butter in, and put in the air fryer for 30 min." _An
