THE SHOP - WHICH IS SITUATED IN THE CITY'S NORTHFIELD SHOPPING CENTRE - ANNOUNCED THE CLOSURE TO CUSTOMERS THROUGH A SIGN IN THE WINDOW OF THE STORE 11:00, 05 Jun 2025 New Look will be
closing another one of its high street branches this weekend in a blow to shoppers. The fashion retailer will be pulling down the shutters of one of its branches in Birmingham on Sunday,
June 8. The shop - which is situated in the city's Northfield shopping centre - announced the closure to customers through a sign in the window of the store. This said: "Thanks for
having us, Northfield. This store will be closing on Sunday 8th June. Don't worry, you'll still be able to find us at Newlook.com with 100s of new styles dropped every week! Scan
to download our app for exclusive offers." In the lead up to Sunday's closure, the retailer has launched a major closing-down sale, with prices slashed by up to 70%. The retailer
has not confirmed the reason behind the move, it is also uncertain how many staff members will be impacted or whether anyone has been issued a redundancy notice. However, it is important to
note that retailers close stores for a variety of reasons, and it doesn't just mean they are in trouble. Some close because the tenancy has come to an end on the site, or because the
branch is not as profitable as others. Article continues belowREAD MORE: Major car finance compensation update issued today for millions of UK driversREAD MORE: Martin Lewis shares 'key

Facebook page. She wrote, "Saddened to see another store close in Northfield Shopping Centre this Sunday. "The lack of investment and support for local businesses has led to
boarded-up shops and a diminishing sense of community. "It's disheartening to see our high street, once bustling with life, now struggling to survive. We urge local authorities and
residents alike to come together and find solutions to revitalise Northfield High Street before we lose more of what makes our community special." JOIN MONEY SAVING CLUB'S
