KATE MIDDLETON SHARED HER ONE WISH FOR HER ESTRANGED NIECE, LILIBET, IN THE DAYS AFTER SHE WAS BORN – AND MADE A HEARTBREAKING CONFESSION ABOUT THEIR RELATIONSHIP 04:21, 04 Jun 2025Updated

10:31, 04 Jun 2025 Kate Middleton shared her one adorable wish for her niece shortly after her birth. Princess Lilibet, the only daughter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, celebrates her

fourth birthday today (June 4). She was born at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California and lives in Montecito with her two parents and older brother, Archie. The family are not

believed to keep regular contact with their royal relatives, with some members of the Firm having never met the Sussex children. As reported by HELLO!, royal correspondent Danielle Stacey

said: "It has never been officially confirmed whether the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children have met Princess Lilibet." However, Kate made it clear she had not spoken

to her niece in the days following her birth. In a TikTok posted by CBS News back in June 2021, Kate was asked whether she had any wishes for Lilibet. "I wish her all the very

best," Kate said. "I can't wait to meet her, because we haven't yet... met her yet, so hopefully that will be soon." The Princess of Wales was then asked if she had

FaceTimed with her young niece. To this, she heartbreakingly responded: "No, I haven't. No." Article continues below Last year, Harry and Meghan celebrated Lilibet's

third birthday with a special party at their home. The Mirror reported at the time that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had kept the guestlist small. No members of the Royal Family attended

the bash. However, it is thought a number of Meghan and Harry's close friends, as well as their daughter's peers, celebrated the big day with the young princess. Royal author Tom

Quinn has claimed celebrities including Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom with their daughter Daisy were also present. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror last year, Tom said: "Rather than go

for a low-key celebration Harry and Meghan have spent the past weekend enjoying a pre-birthday bash for their daughter Lillibet's third birthday – hugely expensive presents have been

ruled out but the couple's mansion in California was awash with celebrities including Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom and their daughter Daisy who is just a few months older than

Lilibet." Article continues below Meghan and Harry became neighbours with Katy and Orlando when they moved to their home in Montecito after stepping down from the Royal Family. They

also live close to Ellen DeGeneres, Gwyneth Paltrow and Oprah Winfrey. While there were plenty of celebrities at Lilibet's birthday party, members of the Royal Family weren't

invited. Tom said: "Shockingly no invitations to Lilibet's party were issued to members of the Royal Family." Last month Meghan enjoyed Mother's Day celebrations with

both of her children, with the big day falling on May 11 in the US.
