A three-year-old boy has died after falling into a swimming pool at his family home. The tragic incident happened on Saturday, May 24 when Kaseyn Clifton's mum was out running an


errand for about 15 minutes. Kaseyn was at home with his siblings and an aunt when he slid open a back door, wandered outside and fell into the pool, according to police. The Macon County


Sheriff’s Office confirmed he fell into the pool at the family home in Oreana, Illinois. After his mum came home, his family found him in the pool and called emergency services. First

an unimaginable loss. We tragically lost our sweet baby Kaseyn, just 3 years old! "Our hearts are broken, and there are no words for the pain we are feeling. Please keep our family in

you more and more! I just am at a loss for words right now! We love you my beautiful son." The Macon County Sheriff’s Office has completed an investigation and did not find signs of


criminal activity, according to local news station, WAND. “Though his time with us was far too short, Kaseyn filled each day with so much joy. Full of life and energy, he had a smile that


could light up any room and a giggle that will echo in our hearts forever,” his obituary read. It comes after a four-year-old boy has died after getting into difficulty while swimming in a


hotel pool in Tenerife. The tragic incident took place on Thursday May 22 in Golf del Sur in the south of Tenerife. According to local media the boy had suffered a cardiac arrest due to


ingesting a large amount of water while swimming. Shortly before 5pm local time the boy was rescued from the pool, as reported by the Canary Islands Emergency Coordination Centre (CECOES).


The alarm was raised when the young boy was pulled from the pool by the hotel lifeguard and found to be unresponsive. Emergency services were called and a nurse assisted via the emergency


call centre. Sadly, they confirmed that the boy was in cardiac arrest and provided instructions over the phone to locate a defibrillator and begin CPR immediately. The lifeguard, supported


by several medical professionals, immediately began resuscitation efforts. Article continues below Two advanced life support ambulances and a medical helicopter were dispatched to the hotel.


Emergency personnel continued advanced resuscitation attempts upon arrival, but despite their best efforts, the child was pronounced dead at the scene. Local Police assisted at the scene,


and the Guardia Civil has taken charge of the investigation to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
