on a free transfer. The former Chelsea star is not expected to put pen to paper on a new deal with the Gunners. Brazilian side Flamengo have been linked with a move for Jorginho this summer


- and it appears that they are attempting to seal his services even earlier. Flamengo are in talks with Arsenal regarding the prospect of releasing him from his contract early to enable him


to play at this summer's Club World Cup. They get their campaign underway against ES Tunis on June 17, with their next match coming against Jorginho's former side Chelsea. Club


America and LAFC face a playoff to decide their third opponents. If discussions go to plan, Jorginho is expected to pen a contract with his new employers until 2028. An agreement has yet to


be struck but Arsenal are understood to be willing to facilitate his request. Speaking earlier this season, Jorginho's agent Joao Santos suggested he was ready to launch talks with a


number of interested parties. He said: “Jorginho has returned to London. From April 15, I will begin talks in England, including Arsenal, as well as teams from Italy, Saudi Arabia and
