GOOD MORNING BRITAIN STAR RANVIR SINGH HAS RETURNED TO THE ITV DAYTIME SHOW FOLLOWING HER EMERGENCY APPENDIX SURGERY. 09:24, 30 May 2025 Good Morning Britain's Ranvir Singh has opened

up about her recent health scare and emergency surgery on Friday's episode of the show. While chatting with Made in Chelsea's Sam Vanderpump, who recently faced a life-threatening

battle with liver and kidney failure leading to sepsis, Ranvir shared her own brush with a medical emergency. The 27-year-old reality star emphasised the importance of seeking medical advice

for sepsis symptoms, prompting Ranvir to recount her experience when her appendix ruptured just weeks ago. Ranvir recalled the moment she decided to call 111 after enduring pain all day

post-work, saying: "It's interesting, you know when I had my appendix ruptured a couple of weeks ago, about three weeks ago, the thing that made me call 111, I had sort of been

writhing around all day straight after work." She linked her decision to Lorraine's team raising awareness about bowel cancer, stating: "It was eight o'clock at night,

and I thought, 'Let's check it's not bowel cancer'. I don't know, it's because Lorraine's team have been doing a bowel cancer thing." Article

be?'. So just planting a seed in the mind of someone." Co-host Rob Rinder then chimed in, revealing that initially, doctors dismissed Ranvir's severe pain, asking: "They

told you it was nothing, I think, at first?" to which Ranvir confirmed: "Yeah." Earlier in May, Ranvir took to Instagram to tell her followers that she had to undergo urgent

surgery after her appendix burst, despite having presented Lorraine just the day before, reports Bristol Live. After feeling drained and foggy and thinking a coffee could sort it, TV star

Ranvir Singh was struck by a sudden stomach ache. She shared her ordeal on social media, saying: "I stay in bed all day. Turns out I had a ruptured appendix and had urgent surgery at

midnight on Thursday! "Woke up 5am on Friday morning, high on anaesthetic and certain I could get into work to host the show as normal [laughing emoji]. "Pretty nasty few days, the

bacteria had spread and infected my blood etc and told to take this week off by @jadeens I'm sore and shuffling around, can't drive for a week, and no exercise for 4 weeks (! ) so

really it's the boredom that will kill me!" Article continues below With 'horrendous' shoulder pain also afflicting her, well-wishers flooded in with supportive messages

for Ranvir. Despite the health scare, the resilient presenter returned to hosting duties on ITV alongside Rob Rinder on Friday. Good Morning Britain is available to watch on ITVX.
