The clash between the Sydney Sixers and Brisbane Heat last night drew 859,000 metro viewers, as the Big Bash continues to perform strongly for the Ten Network. The session 2 result was up on
session 1 which had 803,000 viewers and also an earlier match between the Hobart Hurricanes vs Perth Scorchers at 4pm, which drew 636,000 capital city viewers across the five cities. Ten’s
cricket coverage dominated TV viewing on what was otherwise a quiet night, with the ABC’s Vera the second most watched non-news show with 695,000. In the 7pm slot Nine beat Seven with the
summer edition of 60 Minutes drawing 764,000, while a special weekend primetime episode of gameshow The Chase drew 585,000. ADVERTISEMENT At 8pm Seven was in the lead with 517,000 for a
repeat of The Force, which beat Animal Super Parents which had 492,000 viewers. In news Nine beat Seven comprehensively with 972,000 viewers compared with 867,000. Ten had the highest main
