THE ISSUE: FORMER PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN’S “AGGRESSIVE” METASTATIC PROSTATE CANCER DIAGNOSIS. Former President Joe Biden’s team consistently stated that he was fit to serve (“A ‘doctored’

message,” May 20). The obvious conclusion is that he either lied to the public, or he needs to change the doctors treating him. _Judi Srulowitz_ _Englewood, NJ_ As a prostate cancer

survivor, my sympathy for Biden is tempered by two concerns. EXPLORE MORE First, at this late stage, the disease simply had to be known by his doctors at least several years ago. Why did

they withhold this critical information from the entire nation? Secondly this leads me to believe that, at best, Jill and Hunter Biden knew about his condition and knowingly lied to all of

us for several years while Joe was president. Let’s play this lie out further: Can you imagine if he did not withdraw from the 2024 election, then beat Trump, and resigned to hand the

presidency over to intellectually limited former Vice President Kamala Harris? _Peter Incardone_ _Long Beach Island, NJ_ As a 72-year-old physician with a history of prostate cancer, I don’t

see how Joe Biden could have not known about his diagnosis. PSA: Blood tests are standard for all men over 50 years old. A senator, vice president and then president — without question —

would receive that test as standard care. The fact that he has bone metastasis is even more evidence that the cancer has been around for a while. I’m not a cynical individual, and I am

empathetic, but I’m skeptical of Biden’s cancer just now being diagnosed at its advanced stage. _Daniel Ricciardi_ _Brooklyn_ While my thoughts are contrary, my faith does not allow me to

wish any ill will on former President Biden. His diagnosis of prostate cancer has obviously been another coverup in a long line of lies — the signature of Biden’s family and administration.

Thank God he withdrew from the race. If he had run and won, it is quite possible that within a year or so, Harris would occupy the White House. Thanks for dropping out, Joe, and best wishes.

_Bo Madden_ _Jupiter, Fla._ President Trump suggested that Biden’s cancer diagnosis was hidden from the public — a coverup by the former president and his team. Obviously, if there was a

coverup, it was wrong. But it’s too late to look back. Going forward, Trump should lead by example. His medical record should be released in its entirety. The medical records of all future

presidents of the United States should also be made public. That would create trust in Americans that they are not being lied to. _Paul Feiner_ _Greenburgh_ Between Joe Biden’s prostate

cancer diagnosis and the lies about his cognitive issues, this may be the biggest coverup in US history. The former president’s team lied about most things, but these two issues put

everything into perspective. There were people behind the scene making decisions, not only on Biden’s physical and mental health, but also on every US policy and decision for four years.

They must be held accountable. _Bob Robustelli_ _Stamford, Conn._ KEEP UP WITH TODAY’S MOST IMPORTANT NEWS Stay up on the very latest with Evening Update. THANKS FOR SIGNING UP! The fact

that the American public wasn’t considered relevant when it came to the Biden administration’s dismissal of his ailments during his time in the White House needs to be thoroughly

investigated. Regardless of politics, Joe Biden should have been accorded tender, loving care. Instead, he was being used as decor in the Oval Office. _Lauren Tenenbaum_ _Clifton, NJ_

Although I feel sorry for the predicament that Biden is in, I am curious as to why his people let the cancer get to the stage that it’s at now. My doctor noticed an increase in my PSA test

20 years ago and immediately sent me to a urologist for treatment, which included hormones, radiation and seeds. I am still cancer-free. So, the question arises: Why didn’t Biden’s doctors

immediately put him under treatment? It seems to me that they did not want the public to know. So, now, he is in the fight of his life. _Richard Ketay_ _Newark, NJ_ WANT TO WEIGH IN ON
