GUILFORD, CT —Police say that an accident left passengers with just minor injuries but has clsoed roadways. The area of Prospect Hill Road at Durham and Little Meadow roads is closed. A
telephone pole and wires are down. Police suggest that motorists use alternative routes of North Street, Stepstone Hill Road or Route 1 to navigate between Little Meadow and Durham roads.
Police caution motorists to "drive slowly today and anticipate that there may be icy spots on the roadways."
