JOLIET, IL — Thousands of people in the Joliet area will now have their opportunity to receive their coronavirus vaccination in the coming days and weeks here in Joliet. On Saturday, the
Joliet Fire Department announced that the old Toys R Us along Mall Loop Drive near the Louis Joliet Mall will be used by the National Guard and the Will County Health Department will become
a coronavirus vaccination site from April through May 30. The former Toys R Us will be used to give people the Moderna vaccine and the Pfizer vaccine. "It is supposed to be open to all
1A and 1B in the state of Illinois. Starting on April 12th it will be open to everyone. If you know anyone that still needs a vaccine have them sign up," the fire department announced.
