(dynamic music) - In Van der Valk season four, you can expect the most ambitious season yet. We're pulling out all the stops. Explosions, car chases, fight scenes, gunfights. (guns
popping) It's all there. There's more. You really see the heart of the team in this season. (glasses clink) - We're sort of like a family on this. And so, it was just the
family getting back together. - Lucienne, this series, is, I think she's in cracking form. There's some lovely new dynamics coming along, of course, Azan playing Eddie. I feel like
their relationship has built up off camera. - Nice work. - [Mamie] So the time that's passed, they become closer as a working unit. - You see Eddie really grow as a detective, as a
sergeant. He's the first one to throw himself into danger. That often leads him into trouble. But, his heart is always in the right place to solve the case. - Just stay out of it.
It's none of your business. - You made it my business. (character yells) - Something happens with Hendrik's health. He becomes aware of quite quickly in the first episode, and he
doesn't tell anybody. He decides that he's gonna suck the marrow out of his life for as long as he's got. (characters cheering) - This season involves whistle blowing, animal
smuggling, missing pop star, a billionaire figure. And we might see an old flame of Van der Valk's reappear. - Like the day could get any worse. - Is there a corpse anywhere need
cheering up? - It didn't end too well. And now they see each other again. - Still a charmer then. - Oh, this is him merry. - Wow. - It was a great start to the series, and to the
experience, and to kind of, you know, hit the ground running. (dramatic music) (dog barks) (gun popping)
