West Philadelphia got a little more wild Sunday afternoon, when two zebras performing with the UniverSoul Circus broke loose and led authorities on a brief, though thrilling chase through

the city streets. The escape happened around 2 p.m. after the animals had finished their act. One was captured within a half-hour, the other by 3 p.m., authorities reported. The situation

was thoroughly documented by Philadelphia residents on social media. (Some posts contain NSFW language.) //platform.twitter.com/widgets.js A number of police vehicles were involved in the

pursuit, as you can see from this video. //platform.twitter.com/widgets.js All’s well that ends well, though. //platform.twitter.com/widgets.js And the Philly police got the last word after

all, getting in a jab at the zebras’ “outfits.” //platform.twitter.com/widgets.js UniverSoul Circus has not commented publicly on the escape, though their billing as “the most interactive

circus in the world” is certainly bolstered by Sunday afternoon’s events.
