As well as reducing Human Resources (HR) overheads by consolidating existing systems, the new initiative includes extended job-role profiling and competency frameworks for skills
assessments. Phill Walker, head of operational HR at BAE, said: “This enables personal development planning for both professional and production employees, while also allowing us to
proactively manage employee skills in line with corporate requirements.”
