LEICESTER TIGERS DEVELOPMENT WING JORDAN OLOWOFELA HAS BEEN RULED OUT OF THE FINAL FIXTURE OF THE 2018/19 GALLAGHER PREMIERSHIP SEASON THROUGH INJURY. Olowofela, who trained with England in
September, dislocated his shoulder in the final quarter of the match against Harlequins and will undergo surgery this week that means he is unavailable for Tigers’ remaining league fixture
with Bath this Saturday, May 18 (4.00pm). The 21-year-old has made 24 appearances in Leicester colours in his breakthrough season this year, which has also seen him score tries at Twickenham
against Northampton Saints and a first at Welford Road against Bristol Bears. > 🤕 > > Jordan Olowofela will have surgery on a dislocated shoulder and miss > our final fixture

head coach Geordan Murphy said: “When Jordan dislocated his shoulder it was out of place for quite a while, and after seeing a specialist he needs to undergo surgery just to tidy that up.
“You could say he’s been thrown in at the deep end this season, going from a development player to making more than 20 appearances for the first-team, but it’s a challenge he’s attacked
really well and it’s unfortunate to lose him for our final game. “We look forward to welcoming him back in time for next season, and will assist him with his return to the field.” EDITORS
PICKS: Olowofela added: “I’m obviously gutted to not be able to finish my first proper season of first-team rugby, but it’s a tough game and unfortunately these things happen. “I’m wishing
the boys well for their final game this weekend, and hope to get back on the pitch sooner rather than later.”
