Sir Stephen Bubb is globally recognised as a leading voice on charity. For 15 years, he led the U.K's professional association for charity CEOs (ACEVO), after a distinguished career in
trade unions and local government and he established the National Lottery Charities Board. He led two major inquiries for the Government on the Winterbourne view scandal and on choice and
competition in the NHS. He has held major appointments on public bodies in the health service in particular, as well as on the Honours Committee, and as a public appointments assessor.
