Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley wrote in a blog that Delhi Chief Minister “Arvind Kejriwal seems to believe in untruth and defamation, delivered in a language that borders on hysteria”.
Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu joined the chorus and downplayed AAP’s allegations against Jaitley.
BJP member Shrikant Sharma said Kejriwal’s allegations are baseless and false. BJP MP and BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur has said that AAP’s claim against Jaitley is baseless.

Such reactions from BJP members are expected, but other parties like the Shiv Sena and Congress have also spoken against AAP’s stand in the press conference.
