Officer Darren Wilson's lawyers released a statement on behalf of their client after learning he was not indicted in the shooting death of Michael Brown. The statement said that Wilson
"followed his training and followed the law" when he shot and killed Brown on Aug. 9. It continued: Wilson also thanked "those who stood by his side throughout the
process." His attorney, Neil Bruntrager, would not comment on whether Wilson plans on resigning from the Ferguson Police Department. Officials said that if Wilson was not indicted,
there would be no reason to fire him. SUBSCRIBE TO THE WEEK Escape your echo chamber. Get the facts behind the news, plus analysis from multiple perspectives. SUBSCRIBE & SAVE SIGN UP
