The West Australian A woman has been charged after allegedly attempting to ram council workers on an oval in Perth yesterday. WA Police today released footage of a 45-year-old woman
allegedly erratically driving a white Hyundai Getz and doing burnouts on the Grand Parade oval in Redcliffe. At the time, council workers were on the oval conducting work and were allegedly
forced to shelter on top of their work vehicles due to the erratic nature of the woman’s driving. WATCH THE VIDEO IN THE PLAYER ABOVE It is alleged she drove straight towards one particular
work vehicle, coming within close proximity of a worker, who was forced to take evasive action to avoid being struck. Cannington detectives have charged the woman with one count of endanger
life, health or safety of a person, and one count of unlawfully possessing a controlled or prescription drug. She is due to appear in Perth Magistrate’s Court on Friday December 18. GET THE
