limit. Newman police Sgt Shane Sadler said officers breathalysed the man on Nimingarra Drive about 1.20am yesterday. The initial test showed he was well above the 0.05 legal blood limit. “As
a result they took him back to the police station and gave him a formal test,” he said. “He was more than seven times the limit.” The reading exceeded 0.35 per cent, police said. The
25-year-old, who is from the Jigalong community about 165km east of Newman, has been charged with attempting to drive under the influence and driving without a licence. He is due to appear
