Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, and Rakul Preet Singh were recently summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the drug abuse angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput’s
case where they seem to have given almost similar statements. Now, according to a report in a news portal, the NCB stated that all four of them claimed ‘hash is not a drug’ during the
interrogation and reportedly put themselves in trouble by giving similar statements. The report further added that Deepika, Sara, Shraddha, and Rakul are aware that they have been cornered,
and are speaking the same language. So the agency will be summoning them again for further investigation. It added that it has gathered a lot of other evidence that it has not been released
yet. The report also stated that NCB has not given clean chit to any of the celebrities who were interrogated by the agency on September 26. On the other hand, Kshitij Prasad, who was
briefly associated with a production house, has also been arrested by the NCB. As the NCB continues to probe the drug-link in the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput, his girlfriend Rhea
Chakraborty continues to stay in judicial custody. The hearing of Rhea and Showik Chakraborty's bail plea was deferred by the Bombay High Court till September 29.
