I have been in the nursing field since 2009 and with VA since 2014. I have been in the nursing field since 2009 and with VA since 2014. Currently function as the Whole Health Vaccine
Coordinator. I use clinical expertise and leadership in the development, administration, and management of the Vaccination program at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center. I serve as the
subject matter expert for employees, supervisors, and hospital services regarding vaccination policy and procedure. I develop the initial plan and update the plan to ensure all vaccination
programs are current. I work closely with our CACs team to ensure clinical reminders are up to date for vaccines and the implementation of new clinical reminders. I identify the need for
vaccination clinics throughout the facility and CBOCs and implement those clinics into practice. I serve as the chair of the Interdisciplinary Flu Committee and lead the efforts of annual
flu campaign and vaccination clinics. I Collaborate with employee health for employee vaccinations. Also, acupressure certified and offer this service on demand or by consult.
