Giving back is a true act of kindness that touches hearts and changes lives. Our dedicated volunteers at Marion VA Health Care have shared their reasons for serving our precious Veterans,
and their stories are truly inspiring. Ever wondered why they do it? We asked them, and their answers warmed our hearts. For some, it's a way to pay tribute to those who served our
country. For others, it's about giving back to a cause close to their hearts. But for all of them, it's about making a meaningful impact on the lives of our Veterans. Kevin
Johnson, Marion VA Volunteer Driver with the Disabled American Veterans. > I’m a Veteran myself so I know what it’s like to be in need. > And I know there are many Veterans out there
that are needing rides > to get to their medical appointments. We perform the service because > you get to see a smile on their face, and it shows these Veterans > how much they are
actually cared for. The VA is genuinely trying to > take care of these Veterans. > > I encourage anyone else to step forward and to try volunteering. You > would be surprised
at what you get out of it. Hear Kevin’s story here: Facebook If you would like more information on just how to fill one of these valuable assignments, please call the Marion VA Health Care
