Nina Morris is Director of Clinical Learning at Montana VA Health Care System. Ms. Nina Morris was appointed as the permanent Associate Director for Patient Care Services (ADPCS) for Montana


VA Health Care System (MTVAHCS) on Jan. 23, 2017. She had served as the Interim ADPCS since Oct. 4, 2016. Ms. Morris’ previous assignment was as the acting ADPCS at the VA Salt Lake City


Health Care System (VASLCHCS). Ms. Morris had served as an Associate Chief Nurse of Education and as Manager of the Education Department at VASLC since 2013. She started her clinical career


with the VASLC in 2004 in the Acute Medicine Med-Surgical unit and continued to develop her nursing experience as an RN on the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. In 2008, Nina joined the


Education Department as a Staff Development Coordinator for Medical Informatics and Medical-Surgical Education. Ms. Morris served as the Chair of Workforce Development and Strategic Planning


Committee for the VASLCHCS and has been an active team member of the VISN 19 Workforce Development & Strategic Planning committee for the last three years. She was the Designated


Learning Officer (DLO) for VASLC and served as an interim VISN 19 DLO in 2015. She is a certified VA Mentor and actively participates in Quality/Process Improvement & Root Cause Analysis


projects. Ms. Morris has earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah and a Masters in Nursing Education from Westminster College both in Salt Lake City, UT.
