Ajai Khanna, MD, PhD, is an adult and pediatric multiorgan transplant surgeon. Dr. Khanna is certified in transplant and general surgery by the American Society of Transplant Surgeons and is
a fellow of The American College of Surgeons. He is a professor of surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from University of Allahabad in
India and completed his residency at University Hospitals in the UK, followed by transplant surgery fellowship at UPMC. Dr. Khanna’s clinical interests include live donor and domino liver
transplantation, as well as intestinal and multivisceral transplantation. He has published extensively and is a member of multiple professional societies, including The Royal College of
Surgeons of England, The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, European Board of Surgery, International Liver Transplant Society and American Society of Transplant Surgeons.
