Vanessa Trupiano currently serves Veterans with VA Portland as an Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Program Coordinator. Vanessa started her tenure with VA Portland Health Care System as
a Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Social Worker. In 2021, she took the position of a IPVAP coordinator. Vanessa facilitates Strength at Home (SAH), Recovery from IPV through
Strength and Empowerment (RISE), and Courageous Voices. Vanessa has been in the U.S. Army Reserve for 19 years and has been deployed twice. She is currently serving as an assistant in the
office of the Inspector General.
