Justyn Charon is the Public Affairs Specialist for the VA Providence Healthcare System. Justyn Charon is a Veteran Advocate with a background in Military and Veteran Affairs. Having served
for five years in the United States Marine Corps with 1st Battalion, 8th Marines as an 81mm mortarman, Justyn brings firsthand military experience to his civilian roles. He is a graduate of
the Congressional Wounded Warrior Fellowship Program and spent four years working in Rhode Island’s 2nd Congressional District Office, where he was responsible for the Military/Veterans
portfolio. During his tenure, he also oversaw the Military/Veterans Advisory Committee and the Service Academy Selection Committee. Following this, Justyn managed the Providence Vet Center’s
Veteran Outreach Program for three years, further demonstrating his commitment to supporting Veterans in transitioning to civilian life and accessing essential services.
