VA Providence was proud to take part in today’s Veteran Café at American Legion Post 85 in Woonsocket—a collaborative effort with the Rhode Island Office of Veteran Services and Meals on
Wheels of Rhode Island. Joanne Barrett, Women Veterans Program Manager, along with enrollment specialists Trisha Cote and Michelle Henderson, attended the event to connect with local
Veterans and share valuable information about VA health care enrollment and support services. The Veteran Café program brings Veterans together over a warm meal, offering connection,
community and critical resources for older Veterans who may be at risk of isolation. Thank you to our partners and to all the Veterans who joined us. VA Providence is honored to continue
serving those who served.
