Katie (Athern) Tinker is the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program director. (Athern) Tinker is originally from Chicago. She graduated from Purdue University and then received her PharmD from the
University of Colorado Denver. She completed PGY-1 training at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston and then headed back to the mountains for a PGY-2 in Internal Medicine at
the University of Utah Medical Center. She works as a clinical pharmacist on the Internal Medicine service and is the PGY-1 Residency coordinator. For fun, (Athern) Tinker enjoys running,
walking her dogs, traveling, and cheering on the Boilermakers.
