Dr. Adrian Dollarhide is the Chief of Staff of the VA San Diego Healthcare System. Dr. Adrian Dollarhide is the Chief of Staff of the VA San Diego Healthcare System, effective February 2024.
He served as the Acting Chief of Staff from October 2023 through January 2024. He was the Deputy Chief of Staff at the VA San Diego Healthcare System from May 2019 through September 2023.
Dr. Dollarhide graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Princeton University in 1991. He graduated from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) School of
Medicine in 1995. Dr. Dollarhide completed his internal medicine residency training and served as a chief medical resident in the internal medicine residency training program at UCSD. Dr.
Dollarhide has served as a Primary Care provider at VA San Diego Healthcare System since 1999. He has served clinically as the medical lead for the Mental Health-Primary Care integration
clinic and in a multi-disciplinary Hepatitis C treatment clinic. Dr. Dollarhide's administrative roles include serving as the Director of the Procedure Center, the Procedure and
Anesthesia Care Council chair, and the HRO Champion for the VA San Diego Healthcare system. Dr. Dollarhide is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSD. In addition, Dr. Dollarhide is a
Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
