Watertown , NY — WATERTOWN, NY – Construction for a new VA Specialty Care Clinic located at Washington Summit has begun and is estimated to be completed by mid-2025. This new 25,000 square
foot Specialty Care Clinic will be capable of providing medical services for approximately 5,000 veterans across Watertown, NY and the surrounding area. Impact to the community and traffic
has been taken into consideration and a new road is being constructed to help alleviate traffic issues and allow for better access to the facility. The new Washington Summit Specialty Care
Clinic will host Compensation and Pension examinations, Optometry, Audiology, Electromyography, Whole Health Clinic including Massage, and Chiropractic clinics, as well as some yet to be
determined specialty care services. The Home-Based Primary Care administrative offices will also be on site. Currently, the Watertown VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) and the
Watertown CANI Specialty Care Clinic serve a combined 6,232 veterans. The Specialty Clinic at Washington Commons brings the ability to double the capability for veteran care in the area. At
this time, there is no plan to move the services offered at the Watertown VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic to the new Specialty Clinic at Washington Commons. For more information, visit
