Wilmington , DE — Effective January 31, Jeffrey Beiler II, MBA, FACHE will serve as the Acting Wilmington VA Medical Center Director. Mr. Beiler will oversee daily operations and health care


services to more than 40,000 Veterans throughout Delaware and southern New Jersey. Mr. Beiler was appointed as the Coatesville VA Medical Center Executive Director in October 2020. He was


responsible for daily operations and health care delivery to 19,000 Veterans with 300 operating beds comprised of acute behavioral health, residential rehabilitation treatment and community


living center. Mr. Beiler has served in many roles over his 25 years in Veterans Health Administration. He began his career as an accounting trainee at Coatesville VA and has held several


executive leadership roles including chief financial officer at Lebanon VA and associate director roles at Clarksburg, Philadelphia and Lebanon VA Medical Centers. In addition, he served as


the CFO for a national program office, Chief Business Office for Purchased Care, shortly after the implementation of the Veterans Choice Act in 2015. Mr. Beiler also served as CFO for the


Horsham Clinic, which was a 206-bed behavioral health facility providing acute inpatient services to children, teens, and adults, along with day treatment programs. Mr. Beiler received his


bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Cedarville University and his master’s degree in business administration from Kutztown University. He is a fellow in the American College of


Healthcare Executives and has served as an Executive Sponsor and Coach for VHA’s Healthcare Leadership Development Program. Previous Medical Center Director Vince Kane will retire after 24


years of dedicated service to Veterans and VA. Wilmington VA Medical Center provides health care services to more than 40,000 Veterans throughout Delaware and southern New Jersey at its


medical center and five outpatient clinics.
