NEW CASTLE, Del. — Since 2019, the Wilmington VA Medical Center has buzzed with plans to open a new state-of-the-art dialysis suite to provide expanded services for its Veterans.

Service leaders from all over the Delaware and southern New Jersey gathered to provide resources for almost 170 Veterans at the Southern New Jersey Regional Stand Down in the All-Wars

“The best part of audiology is when you witness a person being able to hear for the first time in years,” said Tiley. “A lot of Veterans do not know hearing aids are free too, if they

qualify.”

“My entire career has been one great story,” said Wilmington VA Medical Center volunteer and U.S. Air Force Veteran, Cathleen Rossi-McLaughlin as she answers phone calls in a busy room at

the medical center filled with her fellow volunteers.

“I was able to tell President Biden of how the Wilmington VA Medical Center has been the center of my praise by literally rebuilding me,” said U.S. Army Veteran Ernest Davis.
