Abbey Clancy shares 'rule' for husband Peter Crouch as she calls out his 'lies'Ex Strictly Come Dancing winner Abbey Clancy opened up about a rule she and her husband Peter Crouch have in
their marriage, after a recent trip ruffled a few feathersLifestyleSamantha Masters Content Editor 08:00, 04 Jun 2025Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch married in 2011 Abbey Clancy has revealed a
pact she has with husband Peter Crouch for times when he's away from home.
During a new episode of their podcast, The Therapy Crouch, the pair were back to answer listeners' queries, which included sharing what their "weekly whine" was.
Discussing what had recently irritated her, the 39-year-old confessed she was tired of Peter's constant fibbing.
Before she could elaborate on her issue the former footballer anticipated that her annoyance might be related to a recent golf trip, which she confirmed.
Peter, 44, quipped that Abbey resented his enjoyment, to which she retorted: "I want you to have fun, I know how passionate you are about golf and I want you to enjoy your time and have
great times, but my weekly whine is the bare face lying."
Addressing their producer Ross off-camera, Abbey humorously continued: "Bearing in mind the first day, he had a golf day before he went to Ireland, I spoke to him at like 9am, and then he
came home at 2am, ignored me the whole day.

Defending his ways, Peter claimed his wife "knew" of his whereabouts and the companions he was with, which prompted Abbey to joke: "I was tracking him the whole time."

his trip, when he responded to a message about their son Jack being unwell at 3am.
"When he was away, Jack had the vomiting bug so he was up all through the night, throwing up so I text Pete at 3am, 'Jack's just threw up everywhere' and he text me back straight away and I
was like, 'Why are you awake, it's 3am?'."
Abbey said one of her friends, whose husband was also on the trip, claimed her spouse was "last seen" online on his phone at 4am, to which Peter jokingly labelled her "a private detective".
Sharing what Peter had told her at the time, he said he woke up in the middle of the night for a glass of water and just checked his phone, to which he later admitted was a lie.
"So yeah that's my weekly whine, so if we can possibly refrain from telling lies and just tell the truth," she continued.
The football pundit clarified that he was actually up "having a good time and drinking" when he lied about being asleep.

"I've got eyes everywhere," she quipped. "And no one wants a bus-sized me."
